Presentation: SEM + Social = Killer Online Marketing

OK, I re-worded the title a bit. This is a presentation I did for the Portland Business Journal’s Biz Dev seminar series with Dayn from Grady Britton. The actual title of the session was “Search Marketing: (Still) the Killer App of Marketing Your Business Online”. I was asked to talk about why search engine marketing is so effective, how it can work with other channels, and what’s in store for the future of  search.

Since social media marketing is such a hot topic, and Dayn’s previous presentations in the series had talked so much about an online brand’s presence being bigger than their website, I decided to talk primarily about integrating SEO & Social Media Marketing.
