Link building (or, as I like to label it, link attracting) is something SEOs have been doing for years… and will no doubt continue to do in the years to come. No way around it – the anchor text associated with an inbound link does tend to matter. There are arguments on how much it matters but it would be wrong to say it doesn’t matter at all. Nathan Safran looked at the landscape of anchor text in inbound links (like how 21% of 1 – 3 word text links are garbage) and provides best practices for anchor text.

Hunger Games. It’s all the rage. While I haven’t officially started the first book, I’ve purchased it on Kindle. It’s on my iDevice, sitting there, mocking me. Not sure how much I will be reading as the NHL playoffs began last night (go Canucks!).
